OK been a busy couple days but here goes.
#1 best hip hop band and self quoted last actual black band 'The Roots', but I would have to say that the best line up is the do you want more album which actually featured a 16 year old white kid from Canada. A jazz keys player by the name of Scott Storch! That was the most jazzy hip hop album I have ever heard-Scott Storch-Malik B-BlackThought-Steve Coleman-Quest Love-L. Hubbard-Razel?
2 Pharcyde 3 Tribe Called Quest. 4 Epmd 5 Public enemy 6 NWA- changed the industry 7 Ultra Magnetic MC's 8 Run DMC-classics 9 Wu Tang 10 Looptroop?
That hard for me no real order after Pharcyde. | |

NWA's image was fake as fuck an cube did write they shit but Dre's production was fab and Easy's voice unique Cube's Lyrics modern folk imagery, but in terms of art I would only give Dre that spot for his beats Cubes lyrics nice but not top ten. | |
