Avarice is hip hop. Born in Queens and raised in Brooklyn and Uniondale, NY, Av began his evolution as a lyricist. Heavily influenced by all time greats such as Rakim, Nas, D.O.C., and Redman, Av focused on complex wordplay and ingenuity, always attempting to raise the bar lyrically. Unfortunately, some legal issues led to his arrest in California, leading to a 3 year sentence which temporarily derailed his musical career. However, during his incarceration Av stayed busy, writing the majority of the material that eventually became his debut album, 'The Evidence of Things Unseen'....
